The Cricketers, Clavering - Restaurant and Menu

Please telephone 01799 550442 if you wish to book a table in the restaurant or the bar.

Here at the Cricketers we take the sourcing of really good produce and ingredients very seriously and every day of the week, in addition to our seasonal menu choices, we offer lots of lovely daily specials in both the bar and the restaurant, with a roast always included as a special every Sunday. Our entire menu is freshly prepared on the premises by our team of accredited chefs led by Head Chef Justin Greig.

All year round, we take bookings for a Three-course Dinner in the Restaurant which is £29.50 per person. We also take bookings for meals in the Bar for Lunch and Dinner, with exactly the same menu, but everything is priced individually for those who don’t want three-courses, or for those who do, but just prefer the bar atmosphere.

We also cater for large parties or small weddings of up to 60 people and we will be very happy to discuss your requirements with you.

This country pub is where celebrity chef Jamie Oliver grew up. Although he no longer cooks at The Cricketers, it was here that he first started to cook at the age of eight, under the guidance of his parents, the owners, Trevor and Sally Oliver.
